Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer for their client’s St Neots site. Working Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, you will support all PPM and reactive maintenance across the site and contribute to ongoing improvement projects.

The role requires experience in a manufacturing environment, exposure to packaging or FMCG is advantageous, and strong mechanical fault-finding and minor electrical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance engineer with a mechanical bias.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in packaging or FMCG is advantageous.
• Strong PPM and reactive maintenance experience.
• Able to work in a team or on your own.

Responsibilities

• Support all PPM and reactive maintenance across site.
• Mechanical & minor electrical fault finding & repairs.
• Upgrade machinery and complete project work; work closely with shift engineers and management.

Part of a global group, our client's St Neots site retains a friendly, close-knit feel where engineers are trusted to make a real impact.

Following continued growth within their engineering team and significant investment in new equipment, they are now seeking a mechanically biased engineer to join their days team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting all PPM and reactive maintenance across site
• Mechanical & minor electrical fault finding & repairs
• Regularly upgrading machinery and completing project workWorking closley with the wider team including shift engineers and management

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experienced Mechanical biased Maintenance Engineer
• Must have worked within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working within packaging or another FMCG environment would be advantageous
• Strong PPM and reactive engineering experience
• Comfortable working in a team and on your own
