Job summary

Rise Technical is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) in the Derbyshire area, commutable from Alfreton, Derby, Sutton-in-Ashfield and Nottingham. The role offers a salary of £53,500 including shift allowance, with overtime, bonus, training opportunities, and excellent company benefits.

You will maintain equipment across the site and report to the Engineering Manager on projects and health and safety issues, with opportunities to develop and learn new skills within a stable, growing

Qualifications

• Electrical bias with strong maintenance background.
• Proven experience with breakdowns and preventative maintenance.
• Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification.
• Desirable: welding, PLC, PAT testing, and CMMS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative, reactive and project maintenance across site.
• Log non-conformances, faults and errors.
• Work rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager on projects and safety.

The core responsibilities of this role will be the maintenance of equipment and machinery across the site as well as reporting to the Engineering Manager about projects, problems and health and safety issues

The right candidate will have previous experience with hands on Maintenance Engineering, hold engineering qualifications.

The Role:

• Carry out maintenance tasks across the site, preventative, reactive and project work
• Logging non-conformances, faults and errors
• 06:00am - 14:00pm, 14:00pm - 22:00pm and 22:00pm - 06.00am rotating shifts

• Electrical bias
• Proven experienced in breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance
• Apprentice trained/time served or relevant qualifications
