Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) for a well-established Derbyshire manufacturer. The role covers maintenance across the site with a focus on electrical bias and hands-on repairs, reporting to the Engineering Manager on projects, problems and safety issues.

The role offers a rotating shift pattern, generous benefits including 34 days holiday, a target annual bonus and pension matching.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across site and machinery.
• Apprentice trained or relevant qualifications required.
• Experience with electrical bias and breakdowns plus preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site maintenance tasks: preventative, reactive, and project work.
• Log non-conformances, faults and errors.
• Rotate shifts: 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00.

The core responsibilities of this role will be the maintenance of equipment and machinery across the site as well as reporting to the Engineering Manager about projects, problems and health and safety issues

The right candidate will have previous experience with hands on Maintenance Engineering, hold engineering qualifications.

The Role:

• Carry out maintenance tasks across the site, preventative, reactive and project work
• Logging non-conformances, faults and errors
• 06:00am - 14:00pm, 14:00pm - 22:00pm and 22:00pm - 06.00am rotating shifts

The Person:

• Electrical bias
• Proven experienced in breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance
• Apprentice trained/time served or relevant qualifications
• Experienced in welding, PLC, PAT Testing, CMMS would be desirable but not essential
