Job summary

Kinetic plc is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (days) in Bromborough, on a permanent contract. The role runs 8.45am to 5pm with a salary of £45,000 per year.

Open to mechanical or electrical bias, candidates must be apprentice trained in their discipline and have solid manufacturing experience with fault-finding skills. Responsibilities include fault finding, conducting preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and supporting improvements across production machinery and site services.

Qualifications

• Must be apprentice trained in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
• Solid manufacturing background and strong fault finding capabilities.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Fixing machine faults during the shift activity.
• Carry out preventative electrical or mechanical maintenance and safety inspections.
• Perform fault finding and diagnostics in reactive or planned scenarios.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and site services.
• Ensure prompt breakdown handling and maintain PPM schedules.
• Support project development initiatives.
• Adhere to strict HSE and company practices.
• Pursue continuous improvement and propose better ways of working.
