Job summary

Nicholas Clarke Associates Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Days) to join a busy manufacturing site in Stoke on Trent. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance on automated production machinery and supports installation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, you will fault-find mechanically and electrically, ensure H&S and quality standards, and contribute to efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical bias required.
• Strong fault-finding experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Engineer (DAYS)

Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.

Manufacturing Business.

£50,000 + 1.5x overtime + 33 days holiday + pension + benefits.

Days: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm).

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a successful manufacturing business based in Stoke on Trent.

This role supports manufacturing through the provision of Maintenance Engineering activities across all automated production machinery.

Role Description

• Planned and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Mechanical and Electrical fault finding and repair activities.
• Assist with installation of new machinery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, improving efficiency.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with H&S and quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical Bias.
• Industrial manufacturing experience (any type of industry).
• Level 2+ qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Strong fault-finding experience.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
