Job summary

Kinetic Plc in Bromborough is seeking a Maintenance Engineer on days (8.45am – 5pm) with a solid manufacturing background to fault-find and repair production equipment.

You must be apprentice trained in mechanical or electrical disciplines and will carry out preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and site services while upholding HSE standards. The role offers £45,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Fixing machine faults occurring as part of the normal shift activity.
• Carrying out preventative electrical or mechanical maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
• Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
• Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery and site services.
• Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst ensuring that all PPM schedules are maintained.
• Support project development.
• Follow and encourage stringent HSE and standard company practices.
• Practice continuous improvement and pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions.

They are open to either mechanical or electrical bias, as long as you have a solid manufacturing background and strong fault finding capabilities.
