Job summary

Eko Talent currently recruits for a Maintenance Engineer role at a leading manufacturing site. You will maintain and improve a wide range of factory equipment, spanning mechanical and electrical systems, to keep production running smoothly.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with enhanced overtime rates and company benefits as part of a forward-thinking engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to diagnose faults and implement fixes across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Comfort with diverse factory equipment and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all production machinery.
• Ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
• Work on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production equipment.
• Maintain and repair electrics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Support continuous improvement to improve quality, reduce costs and safety.
• Assist production teams with machine setups, fault finding and training.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly and efficiently. Working across both mechanical and electrical systems, you'll be involved in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a wide range of factory equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all production machinery
• Ensure equipment is running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime
• Work on a variety of standard factory machinery including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production equipment
• Maintain and repair systems involving electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve safety
• Assist production teams with machine setups, fault finding, and provide training where needed
