Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a permanent, shift-based role in the West Midlands. You will conduct planned preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems, and respond promptly to production equipment breakdowns.

You will also update maintenance records, assist supervision of site operations, analyze recurring issues, and manage spares while adhering to health and safety policies across UK locations.

Qualifications

• GCSE Level C or above is required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-volume picking machinery via planned maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic components.
• Respond immediately to breakdowns on production equipment.
• Update records of maintenance work, defects and spares used.
• Assist in supervision and control of site mechanical/electrical operations.
• Identify recurring issues through data analysis and implement changes.
• Complete paperwork per company procedures and work instructions.
• Log and monitor spare parts used or required.
• Engage with contractors and obtain permits to work and risk assessments.
