Job summary

Advanced Engineering is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for our fast-paced manufacturing site in the UK. The role focuses on reliable, efficient production through reactive and preventative maintenance, electrical and mechanical fault-finding, and strong adherence to safety.

You will work with Production and Engineering teams, carry out PPMs, maintain CMMS records, and support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / BTEC / HNC/HND or apprenticeship required.
Strong electrical fault-finding and mechanical skills.
Experience with PPMs and reactive maintenance desirable.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
Complete PPMs and identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide effective shift handovers.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with H&S, GMP and food safety standards.
Confident working on CMMS.
Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve issues and improve site performance.
