Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Kidderminster is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to install, maintain and repair manufacturing machinery on a rotational shift pattern. The role focuses on fault finding, calibration and reducing downtime, with strong emphasis on PLCs and electrical and mechanical systems.

You will support production teams, work to drawings, and assist with installations and general facilities maintenance. A background in maintenance engineering and electrical qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Previously worked in a Maintenance Engineering position.
• Must be electrically qualified with certificates.
• PLC fault finding experience, inputs and outputs.
• Must be able to work to engineering drawings including electrical and pneumatic.
• Must be able to identify faults and carry out machine repairs.
• Experienced working to a PPM schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fault find, repair and calibrate production machinery.
• Ensure that production downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Provide technical support to the production team and the wider engineering team.
• Fault find and repair PLCs.
• Carry out electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Assist with machine installations.
• Assist with general facilities maintenance.
