Job summary

Zenith Advisory Partners in Leicester is seeking an Engineering Technician (mechanical and electrical) to maintain high-speed automated production lines. You will report to the Engineering Supervisor and work a 4 on, 4 off shift, covering both days and nights, taking ownership of mechanical maintenance across the site.

Day-to-day tasks include fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical systems, pumps and conveyors, executing planned preventive maintenance, and recording drawings and equipment

Qualifications

• Solid experience with mechanical maintenance and fault-finding in manufacturing.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and safety compliance.
• Ability to work 4-on, 4-off shift pattern and on-site duties.

Responsibilities

• Work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern covering days and nights.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical systems, pumps, gearboxes and conveyors.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and keep records.
• Support production teams during shifts and assist with equipment upgrades.

Education

NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering

HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering
