Job summary

Castle Employment Group is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a York-based site. You will maintain a busy production environment, tackling mechanical and electrical faults while supporting continuous improvement and downtime reduction. The role requires collaboration with production teams and a proactive approach to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance engineering role – food or FMCG background ideal.

• A proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts and support production as needed.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: York
Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating double days (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)
Salary: Up to £47,000
