Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy FMCG manufacturing site near Ruskington. You will maintain electrical and mechanical systems on high-speed production and packaging machinery, respond to breakdowns, and carry out preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will contribute to continuous improvement and work a 4 on 4 off pattern with days and nights.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on maintenance including pre-planned, reactive and breakdown tasks in a fast-paced factory setting.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and mechanical systems across high-speed production and packaging machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to maximise site efficiency and minimise downtime.

Job Title - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location - Ruskington

Salary - Up to £58,000

Shift - 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy FMCG manufacturing site. The company prides itself on a positive working culture where teamwork and mutual respect are at the centre of daily operations.

Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of high-speed production and packaging machinery. You will respond to breakdowns, carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives to maximise site efficiency and minimise downtime.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory environment.

Essential Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally with the ability to fault-find using inputs and outputs.
