Job summary

CSS Contracts Support Services Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to work independently and as part of a small team on planned preventative maintenance and repairs in a manufacturing setting. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pm, averaging about 47 hours per week, with overtime possible at weekends.

A full UK driving licence and own transport are required. The ideal candidate will have multi-skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, preferably with Level 3 Diploma or

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a multi-skilled background maintenance role (Electrical and Mechanical).
• Experience with machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge or qualification in PLCs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing front line maintenance and assisting the small team with general maintenance when required.
• Keeping machinery working and to output the designed efficiency.
• Assist with assembling and dismantling all production equipment.
• Regular PPM and regular scheduled assessments to improve works.
• Following all H&S procedures when required.

• Early starts, expected hours will be 47 hours each week

Duties

Experience

• Must have experience in a multi skilled background maintenance engineer (Electrical and Mechanical)

• Previous experience with working with machinery with a manufacturing environment

• Ideally hold a recognisable electrical engineering qualification, such as a level 3 diploma

• Knowledge in PLC experience desirable

Requirements

• Full clean UK Driving License required

• Own transport required, public transport is available

• Required Level 3 Diploma

• Required NVQ3 / HNC

• Required 18th Edition maintenance engineering

Salary

£35,000 per annum, depending on experience, there will overtime available on weekends
