Job summary

CSS Recruitment are looking for a proactive Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in Witham. You will join a small team to undertake preventative maintenance and repairs on machines based in their factory.

Monday - Friday. 07:00 - 16:30. You will play a vital role in a small team to undertake preventative maintenance and repairs on machines based in their factory.

Qualifications

• Must be a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer (Electrical & Mechanical).
• Track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLCs.
• Worked on machinery within a Manufacturing environment.
• Self‑motivated and able to work in a team.
• You will ideally hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, such as: Level 3 Diploma / NVQ3 / HNC / 18th Edition maintenance engineering / City & Guilds 2382
• Knowledge and experience of PLC an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Providing front line maintenance support to the shift operations team
• Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency
• Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical fault finding
• Assist in dismantling and re-assembling all production equipment
• Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works.

• Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency
• Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical fault finding
• Assist in dismantling and re-assembling all production equipment
