Job summary

CC Cousins Ltd in the South of the UK is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Reactive Maintenance Team. The role involves traveling to commercial and retail properties across the South of the UK, carrying out high-quality repairs and maintenance works.

The successful candidate will have a core trade, at least 3 years' experience, and a full UK driving licence, with NVQ Level 2 preferred. We offer a starting salary of £46,800, overtime opportunities, a company van, fuel card, and monthly

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade.
• At least 3 years' trade experience.
• Proven multi-trade maintenance background.
• Ability to work in a reactive, fast-paced environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance works across multiple sites.
• Undertake a wide range of tasks including roofing, brickwork, carpentry, plumbing, decorating, tiling, and minor repairs.
• Complete jobs safely and to a high standard.
• Work independently or as part of a team and communicate with the office.
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety regulations.
• Accurately complete job reports.

Sakary: £46,800 (Overtime available)

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join our Reactive Maintenance Team. The successful candidate will have a core trade (plumbing/ carpentry/ Brick laying for example) with additional naintenance skills to support across our reactive sites. The role involves travelling to commercial and retail properties across the South of the UK, carrying out high-quality repairs and maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance works across multiple sites
• Undertake a wide range of tasks including:
• Roofing
• Brickwork
• Carpentry
• Plumbing
• Decorating
• Tiling
• Minor reactive repairs (e.g. toilet blocks, waste clearance)
• Complete jobs efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
• Work independently or as part of a team, using initiative to resolve on-site issues
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety regulations
• Accurately complete job reports and communicate effectively with the office team

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade (Roofing, Carpentry, or Brickwork highly advantageous)
• At least 3 years' trade experience
• Proven multi-trade maintenance background
• Ability to work in a reactive, fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
