Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in London to join a nationwide team delivering planned and reactive maintenance on building services. You will carry out scheduled and ad hoc maintenance on mechanical/electrical plant, update compliance records, and contribute to CAFM updates.

Qualified candidates will hold G3 and Commercial Gas modules, with experience in HVAC plant, valves, pumps and servicing onsite equipment. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• G3 qualification is required.
• Commercial Gas modules are required.
• Experience with mechanical pipework, valves, motors, pumps and HVAC plant.
• A recognised maintenance/engineering qualification is required.
• Repairs and replacement of plant, fixtures and fittings as needed.
• Servicing and repairs of onsite plant and equipment.
• Ability to organise housekeeping and arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance by the required attendance dates.
• Update the legal compliance documentation via a tablet to a high standard.
• Provide job/quote updates to satisfy the CAFM system with live client updates.
• Be part of a callout rota after probation.
• Occasional overtime may be required to satisfy clients.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

As a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer qualified to a recognised level (City & Guilds). You would be required to undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance and reactive requirements.

Reporting into the Contracts Manager and working in partnership with all departments to deliver planned preventative maintenance. Reacting to all repair work in the region mechanical/electrical/fabric plant equipment and general property maintenance.

Mobile phone, tablet and uniform would be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance by the required attendance dates.

You will also be required to update the Legal compliance documentation via a tablet (provided) to a high standard.

You will be required to provide job/quote updates to satisfy the internal CAFM system which provides live updates to our client.

You would also be required to be part of a callout rota at the end of a successful probation period.

You would also be required where necessary to work a reasonable amount of overtime to satisfy our client.

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday - 42.5 hours per week with overtime starting after 47.5 hours

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Vented/Unvented G3 qualification

Commercial Gas (All Modules)

Experience performing works with Mechanical pipework services, valves, motors, pumps, bearings, HVAC Plant & equipment.

Recognised qualification in at least one Maintenance/ Engineering discipline.

To carry out repairs/replacement of plant, fixtures and fittings as required

To carry out servicing and repairs of onsite plant, fixtures, and fittings

To organise various housekeeping tasks and arrangements
