Job summary

TXM Recruit are seeking a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to support a leading facilities company on commercial contracts. The role is based around Canterbury with a salary of £42,447 and a 7am–4pm, 45-hour week.

On-call duties are 1 in 4 weeks for emergencies, with overtime after 45 hours and door-to-door pay for travel. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, focusing on electrical and mechanical fault-finding, with opportunities for paid overtime and progression through our training

Qualifications

• 18th edition is required.
• Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent is required.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance across designated sites with focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Complete tasks such as emergency light testing, fire alarm checks, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work.
• Carry out fault-finding and repairs across electrical and mechanical systems.

Job Details

• Salary - £42,447.00
• Working hours - 7am to 4pm (Door to Door pay)
• Schedule - Monday to Friday 45 hours
• On Call - 1 in 4 weeks on call (emergencies only)
• Location - Canterbury and surrounding
• Extra – Overtime available after 45 hours hit (1.5)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance across your designated sites with a focus on plumbing and electrics
• Complete tasks such as emergency light testing, fire alarm checks, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work.
• Carry out fault‑finding and repairs across electrical and mechanical systems
