Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group, at The Pizza Factory in Nottingham, is seeking a proactive maintenance technician to perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery. You will support mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance tasks and work closely with the Engineering Team under the Engineering Manager.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a background in manufacturing maintenance welcomed.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance roles preferred.
• Willingness to develop skills and contribute to a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Support mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance activities as required.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering Team and report to the Engineering Manager.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of equipment reliability and production efficiency.

About You

We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual with a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in either mechanical or electrical engineering who is ready to take the next step in their career.

We welcome candidates with a background in manufacturing who are eager for a new challenge and have experience in both planned and reactive maintenance roles.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to root cause analysis and problem-solving, possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels, and be a true team player who is keen to learn from others, share knowledge and support the wider team.
