Yolk Recruitment Limited is assisting a UK FMCG manufacturer in Newport to appoint a Maintenance Engineer. Working on packaging machines, conveyors, boxing machines, robots and pumps, you'll maintain and repair a range of special purpose machinery.

The role offers Monday–Friday shifts (no weekends), a competitive salary of £44,000–£45,000, and clear progression prospects within a stable sector; a generous holiday and pension package are included.

Qualifications

• Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or apprenticeship completed.
• At least 3 years' experience maintaining and repairing special purpose machinery.
• Experience in FMCG, food, packaging or related sectors welcome.

The Company:

My Client are part of the fmcg sector and going through strong growth and looking to add additional heads to the team, they will look at either bias for this role, the main machines you will be working on include but not limited to: Packaging machines, conveyors, boxing machines, robots, cylinders, pumps, thermoformersand more.

Experience required for the maintenance engineer:

• Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or Apprenticeship served or qualified through college
• At least 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as a maintenance engineer
• Any maintenance engineer from manufacturing or ex-forces welcome to apply FMCG, Food, plastic, packaging, Pharmaceutical, foundry, brick, distribution, automotive, metals, RAF, Navy, army, military, etc.
