Job summary

Stirling Warrington in the FMCG sector is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Telford to join a 3-shift Monday-Friday operation. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing packaging machinery, conveyors and other automation equipment.

Candidates should have at least 3 years' experience as a maintenance engineer, NVQ/C&G Level 3 or equivalent, and be willing to work within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or Apprenticeship served or qualified through college.
• At least 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery.
• Experience in FMCG, plastics, packaging or related manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair packaging machines, conveyors and related automation equipment.
• Assist with start-up and commissioning of lines.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime and losses.
• Follow safety, quality and GMP guidelines on the shop floor.

The Company:

My Client are part of the fmcg sector and going through strong growth and looking to add additional heads to the team, they will look at either bias for this role, the main machines you will be working on include but not limited to: Packaging machines, conveyors, boxing machines, robots, cylinders, pumps, thermoformersand more.

Experience required for the maintenance engineer:

• Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or Apprenticeship served or qualified through college
