Job summary

Orange Monkey Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a food manufacturing site in Haverhill, Suffolk. The role offers a £53,000 annual salary, days-only shifts (4 on/4 off, 05:30–17:30) and an 8% employer pension contribution.

You will maintain electrical and mechanical systems, attend breakdowns and implement preventative maintenance to ensure continuous production. The position emphasises work-life balance with regular days off and long-term stability within a well-invested

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Keep a busy food production site running smoothly.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Attend breakdowns and restore equipment.

What do you need?
