Job summary

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair faults across electrical and mechanical systems using fault-finding techniques.
• Dismantle, repair, replace and test machine components to support optimal performance.
• Perform fabrication and machining tasks including mills, lathes and pillar drills.
• Maintain accurate records and follow procedures to support continuous improvement.
• Identify and source parts, tools and consumables to meet maintenance needs.

• Relevant qualification and working knowledge, including the 18th edition BS7671.
• Good working knowledge of pneumatics and mechanical systems, plus practical welding ability.
• Skilled experience in fabrication and manual machining.
