  • Electrical, electronic and mechanical fault finding across production equipment.
  • Fault finding and maintenance on CNC and PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance schedules and supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
  • Supporting electrical infrastructure installation, inspection and fault finding.
  • Working with electro-mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial controls.
  • Identifying the root causes of breakdowns and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Supporting general building maintenance requirements.
  • Working in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Driving continuous improvement to increase equipment and machinery reliability.

For this Maintenance Engineer opportunity, I am looking for someone with:

  • Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable experience with preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and equipment installation.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capabilities.
  • A good understanding of PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Electro-mechanical knowledge covering hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • The ability to work autonomously and, where required, lead others.
  • HNC/HND qualification, ideally degree level or equivalent.
