Job summary

ASC Connections in Wigston is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain manufacturing equipment and utilities on a high‑volume production site. You will diagnose mechanical faults across conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics, and carry out electrical fault finding on control panels, drives and sensors.

You will support installation and commissioning of new equipment and contribute to continuous improvement to boost efficiency and reduce downtime, while keeping detailed records of maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and utilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults - from conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics to auxiliary plant.
• Carry out electrical fault finding (control panels, drives, motors, sensors, etc.).
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage.
