We are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Essex plant. Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continued smooth running of plant operations.

This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager, and you'll be working on a continental shift pattern to maintain the facility's high standards of operation. Your practical, hands-on approach will be key to supporting our production teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all plant equipment to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Maintain and manage PPM schedules, ensuring that work procedures are followed, and continuous improvement activities are carried out
  • Respond to faults and breakdowns promptly, diagnosing and rectifying issues to minimise production downtime
  • Ensure equipment safety by identifying potential hazards and taking appropriate actions to address unsafe working conditions

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Electrically biased with strong mechanical skills, or mechanically biased with electrical qualifications
  • Experience working with PLCs and inverter drives is advantageous
