Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a global FMCG manufacturer near Coleford, Gloucestershire. You will perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on highly automated production lines, with PLC fault-finding and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, in a 4 on 4 off days/nights pattern.

The role offers genuine progression into senior and management positions, plus international opportunities across Europe and North America.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining automated production machinery
• Multi-skilled maintenance background in FMCG/manufacturing
• PLC fault-finding experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a modern automated facility
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding on high-speed production equipment
• Fault finding across PLC-controlled machinery
• Working on pneumatic, hydraulic and automated systems
• Supporting continuous improvement projects to maximise production efficiency
• Collaborating with production to minimise downtime
• 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)
• 12-hour shifts within a 24/7 operation

The Role:

The Person:

• Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Manufacturing, FMCG, food, beverage, plastics, packaging or automated production background
• Experience maintaining automated production machinery
• PLC fault-finding experience advantageous
• NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification desirable
