Job summary

Hewett-Recruitment seeks a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced manufacturing site in Droitwich. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across production and site equipment, supporting improvement projects to boost reliability and uptime.

The role requires an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent, with experience in automated machinery. The position offers a 4 on 4 off days & nights schedule, pension, life assurance, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within manufacturing environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills with mechanical competence.
• HNC/ONC or equivalent engineering qualification preferred.
• Experience working on automated machinery and production equipment.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across production and site equipment.
• Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns efficiently.
• Reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings.
• Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve asset reliability and performance.

Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a secure role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

We're recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated production facility in Droitwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern equipment, develop your technical skills and play a key role in maintaining production performance.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production and site equipment. You'll also support continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing reliability, efficiency and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
• Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns efficiently
• Reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings
• Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities

What We're Looking For

• Completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or industrial environments
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills with mechanical competence
• HNC/ONC or equivalent engineering qualification preferred
• Experience working on automated machinery and production equipment
