Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd in Dorchester is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. You will carry out planned maintenance inspections, review parts used, and support improvements aligned with projects and maintenance schedules.

The role focuses on safety checks, monitoring plant conditions, reporting defects, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and risk assessments while working on valves and pumps to support production and CI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship training.
• Continuous improvement knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
• Experience in food, packaging, drink, manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Planned maintenance inspections, review parts used.

Salary: GBP50000 - GBP52000 per annum + Monday - Friday, Training & development

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that’s quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and over £9mill of investment going into the factory & growth into various export markets they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Planned Maintenance inspections, review parts used

• Monitor plant conditions, report defects, repair of machinery
