Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd in Kent is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site in Dartford. The role covers mechanical and electrical maintenance on automated production lines, with a clear focus on uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement.

You will perform fault-finding, planned preventive maintenance and some facilities tasks, working Monday to Friday days with early finish on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands-on maintenance with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown tasks in a fast-paced factory.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems and how to log maintenance activities.
• Ability to work a continental shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Carry out both mechanical and electrical maintenance on automated and semi-automated production machinery.
• Fault-finding to minimise downtime and drive reliability improvements.
• Planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Oversee basic facilities maintenance on site.

Job Title:Maintenance Engineer

Salary:£42,000 - £45,000

Shift: Mon - Fri - Days (early finish Friday)

You will be responsible for carrying out both mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will also oversee some basic facilities maintenance

Working on a Monday to Friday days pattern, you will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting production performance across the site.
