Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a site in Clevedon, North Somerset. The role focuses on planned maintenance, safety checks, and continuous improvement within a food/manufacturing environment and includes a strong benefits package.

You will inspect equipment, review parts usage, implement improvements, and ensure SOPs and risk assessments are up to date while supporting production and project work. Salary is £52,000–£53,700 with overtime and flexible holiday options.

Qualifications

• Formal Engineering Qualification (C & G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship)
• Continuous improvement knowledge
• Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
• Experience in food, packaging, drink, manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

• Planned Maintenance inspections, review parts used
• Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules, carry out safety checks on range of equipment
• Monitor plant conditions, report defects, repair of machinery
• Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs, risk assessments
• Report on plant performance using systems, ensure action on non-conformance issues
• Working on a range of valves and pumps
• Supporting production and continuous improvement projects

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products thats quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and over GBP9mill of investment going into the factory and growth into various export markets they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.

Role And Responsibilities

• Planned Maintenance inspections, review parts used
