Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Swindon to maintain production and facility equipment with rotating days and nights. You will diagnose faults, implement fixes and support continuous improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
• Knowledge of GMP standards and clean room protocols.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong organisational, documentation, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using root cause analysis and lean tools.
• Support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and follow change control procedures.
• Collaborate with teams and coordinate contractor activities, including permits and orders.
• Work within cleanroom environments, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical training and support to colleagues; cover team roles when needed.
