Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join an in-house team at a prestigious residential development in Kilburn, North West London. The role is client-direct, working for the building owner rather than a facility management company, based at an 82-apartment luxury development.

You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical tasks, with a focus on high standards and resident service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential, commercial, or facilities maintenance.
• Strong all-round maintenance skills including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating, basic mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the development.
• Undertake general building fabric repairs and maintenance.
• Complete basic plumbing repairs, including taps, toilets and pipework.
• Carry out minor carpentry works, including doors, locks, handles and general repairs.
• Perform painting and decorating as required.
• Complete basic mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Replace lamps, light fittings and other small electrical components.
• Conduct routine inspections of plant rooms and communal areas.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and the property management team.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation.

About the Role

An integrated property investment company is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their in-house team at a prestigious residential development in Kilburn.

This is a client-direct position, offering the opportunity to work for the building owner rather than through a facilities management company. Based at a luxury development comprising 82 high-end apartments, you\'ll play a key role in ensuring the building is maintained to the highest standards while delivering an excellent service to residents.
