Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established site in Southall. The successful candidate will deliver both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of a range of building and engineering systems.

Key duties include routine maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, fault diagnosis and repair, maintaining records, and supporting safety compliance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in mechanical or electrical discipline required.
• Proven experience in a maintenance role within facilities, estates or manufacturing.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine planned maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Responding to breakdowns and resolving faults in a timely manner.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives on site.

• Carrying out routine planned maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures.

• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting any issues to the relevant stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

• Recognised engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds) in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Proven experience in a maintenance role within a facilities, estates or manufacturing environment.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
