Places for People is seeking a Maintenance Controller on a fixed-term basis to oversee maintenance across a portfolio of properties. The role reports to the Operations Manager and offers a transition to hybrid working after an initial training period.
Based on a site in Bath, the role includes liaising with tenants, contractors and clients to ensure timely responses and compliance with all requirements. DBS checks are part of safeguarding for this position.

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Controller on a Fixed Term basis basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a great opportunity to join a growing area of the business.
This role is based on site at Touchstone Bath. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 9am – 5.30 and Friday 9am – 5pm. After an initial period of training (1 month) this role offers hybrid working (3 days at home).
You will have to proactively manage the Maintenance aspect of a portfolio of properties ensuring that client,companyand statutory requirements are always met. You ensure that all maintenance issues are triagedin a timely mannerto the correct contractor whois responsible forrectifying the problem
Part of yourrolewillinvolve you liaising with tenants, contractors, landlords and the client to ensure queries are completed promptly and efficiently and to pay suppliers invoices promptly.

Property management experience is preferred for this role however it is not essential as training will be provided. The ideal applicant will have a strongbackground in customer service, be comfortable using various IT packages and havea track recordof working with various stakeholders.
