The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our pubs-with-rooms safe, comfortable, and well maintained across our sites.

You will perform daily checks on boilers, electrical systems, and fire safety equipment, carry out planned maintenance, and tackle unplanned repairs with a proactive, can-do attitude.

A background in maintenance and a commitment to high standards will help you protect guests and colleagues while developing new skills within a supportive team.

Formación

• Basic plumbing, electrical, and joinery skills required.
• Strong focus on compliance through safety checks and fire safety.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and urgent repairs with a proactive approach.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are safe, comfortable, and in excellent condition. Your responsibilities include daily checks on boilers, electrical systems, and fire safety equipment, along with inspecting and replacing light bulbs and securing fire doors. You'll conduct regular inspections of roofs, gutters, and walkways to address hazards and maintain outdoor areas, including gardening and external housekeeping.

You'll handle planned maintenance tasks like painting and grouting, as well as unplanned repairs. Basic plumbing, electrical, and joinery skills are essential, along with a focus on compliance through ladder checks, fire alarm tests, and utility readings. A proactive, can-do attitude will help you confidently tackle varied tasks with care and precision.
