Job summary

The Kingslodge Inn in Durham, part of Inn Collection Group, is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen. You will work closely with the Head Chef, delivering high standards across the menu and ensuring guest satisfaction.

You'll manage a talented team, contribute to menu development and costing, handle stock control and supplier orders, and maintain cleanliness. We value teamwork, warmth, and a pride in delivering excellence in a relaxed countryside setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy kitchen as a chef.
• Strong teamwork with Head Chef and other staff.
• Excellent communication across kitchen, front-of-house and management.

Responsibilities

• From managing a talented team to contributing to menu development and costing, you'll play a vital role in shaping the guest experience.
• Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to build great relationships across the kitchen, front-of-house, and management teams.
