Job summary

Threadneedles Hotel, Autograph Collection, a five-star boutique hotel in the City, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help with general upkeep, decoration, door maintenance, and minor plumbing. You will join a team focused on delivering excellent service while maintaining a safe, well-presented property.

You will work with colleagues across Threadneedles and The Academy Hotel, contributing to improvement projects and initiatives, and benefitting from a supportive, collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a general maintenance role.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks across the property, including decoration, hanging items, door maintenance, and basic plumbing.
• Move and rearrange furniture as required and assist with improvement projects across properties.

Maintenance Assistant at Threadneedles Hotel

The Role of a Maintenance Assistant

As a Maintenance Assistant you will get involved with the general maintenance of the properties this can include, decoration, hanging/ re-fixing items on walls, door maintenance (handles, fire closures etc), movement of furniture, basic plumming, and minor drain blockages.

This ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude with previous experience in a general maintenance role, you will have excellent attention to detail and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team or independently.

Your base will be Threadneedles Hotel, where you'll become an integral part of the team. As part of our collaborative approach across our London hotels, you'll also work closely with colleagues at The Academy Hotel, supporting improvement projects, key tasks and initiatives when required. It's a great opportunity to broaden your experience, build relationships across both properties and make a positive impact beyond your home hotel.
