Job summary

Haulfryn Ltd. in the United Kingdom is hiring a Maintenance and Grounds Person to care for Holman’s Wood Holiday Park. You’ll work outdoors, carry out grounds maintenance to keep the park safe, welcoming and well presented, and support facilities with basic repairs as needed.

Two part-time positions are available: one for 2 days a week and one for 3 days a week, with some weekends and bank holidays. A hands-on, team-focused attitude and a valid UK driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, including mowing and hedge work.
• Practical approach to property upkeep with basic repair skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and in a team.
• Valid full UK driving licence and weekend/bank holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grounds maintenance to high standards (mowing, trimming, hedge cutting, weed spraying, gritting, gardening).
• Perform property maintenance tasks (basic repairs, painting, decorating).
• Inspect and maintain hot tubs, ensuring cleanliness and chemical checks.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues across lodges and communal areas.
• Follow Health & Safety policies for a safe working environment.

What You’ll Do

As aMaintenance andGrounds Person, you will:

• Carry out grounds maintenanceto the highest standards, including mowing, trimming, hedgecutting, weed spraying, gritting, and general gardening
• Complete property maintenance tasks, including basic repairs, plumbing, painting, and decorating tokeep the park and its facilities in excellent condition
• Inspect and maintain hot tubs, ensuring they are cleaned, refilled, and chemicals are checkeddaily
• Identify and proactively resolvemaintenance issuesacrosslodges and communal areas to uphold high presentation standards
• Work within a teamto maintain the park’s appearance and functionality,supporting development projects as needed
• Follow Health & Safety policies andproceduresto ensure a safe workingenvironment for staff, guests, and owners

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking anenthusiastic,hands-on team playerwho enjoys working outdoors and takes pride intheir work. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience in grounds maintenance, including mowing, hedge cutting, and general landscaping
• Apractical approachtoproperty maintenance, with skills in basic repairs and upkeep
• A valid full UK driving licence
• Available to work some weekends and bank holidays
• Available to be on call when requiredfor emergency call outs and maintenance issues
• Awareness ofHealth & Safetyregulationsand a commitment to working safely
• Excellentcustomer service skillswitha friendly and proactive attitude
• Experience with grounds maintenance equipmentis beneficial (spraying or tree work qualifications are aplus, but training will be provided)
• Willingness to learn new skills especially related to Hot Tub maintenance.
