Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Network Construction Operative to deliver mains renewal work at a regional site. You’ll join a team to excavate, install, test and commission new mains and assets with minimal disruption to customers.

Ideal candidates hold a full driving licence, National Water Hygiene and NRSWA familiarity, and strong teamwork and communication skills. A competitive benefits package and training opportunities are provided to support your growth at Severn Trent.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is required.
• National Water Hygiene certification is preferred.
• NRSWA experience is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate hazards and document daily risk assessments.
• Ensure safe location and avoidance of underground services; assist with asbestos disposal.
• Coordinate with customers and maintain supply with adequate riders/overlanders.
• Implement trenchless solutions where possible to minimise disruption.
• Be on standby as required.
