Job summary
NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled z/OS Mainframe Storage Engineer to manage, support, and optimize enterprise mainframe storage infrastructure across UK/Europe. The role covers installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, monitoring, and modernization of storage platforms supporting IBM z/OS environments.

Qualifications
- Typically 8 to 15+ years of experience in Mainframe Infrastructure and z/OS Storage Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience supporting IBM z/OS storage environments in large-scale enterprise organizations.
- Experience with IBM DS8000 series storage, virtual tape systems, disaster recovery solutions, and storage management products.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other highly regulated, mission-critical environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability, resilience, and optimal performance of enterprise storage infrastructure.
- Proactively monitor storage utilization, performance, and health across all environments.
- Manage storage growth and perform long-term capacity planning activities.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution activities.
- Collaborate with global infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable storage solutions.
