A leading health service provider in Kilmarnock is seeking a Macmillan Advanced Clinical Nurse - Breast within their Cancer Services Department. This exciting role requires a registered nurse with significant cancer experience and a passion for quality improvement. The successful candidate will provide holistic care to patients, act as a key worker, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. This position is permanent and offers 18 hours per week with flexible days.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Macmillan Advanced Clinical Nurse - Breast within our Cancer Services Department based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
18 hours per week - days to suit service/preferred candidate.

The Macmillan Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist (ACNS) provides holistic care and support to patients and their families with Breast cancers. Specialist nursing advice and care is provided throughout the patient pathway (including diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and end of life) with the ACNS acting as a key worker as well as a core member of the multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting development opportunity for a nurse who seeks to further develop their skills, experience and career.

The applicant will be a registered nurse with considerable cancer experience and should possess a relevant post‑graduate diploma or equivalent experience. Advanced clinical decision making and communication skills and a passion for quality improvement are essential for this role.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.
