Job summary

Orion Electrotech Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Machine Operator in the Newbury area to support production of high-quality components using advanced equipment. You will prepare parts, operate machinery, and help maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing process.

You will work as part of a close-knit team, perform routine machine checks, assist with maintenance, and contribute to on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating machinery in manufacturing or production.

Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking to join an innovative and growing manufacturing business?

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to support the production of high-quality components using advanced manufacturing equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience operating machinery in a production or manufacturing environment who is looking to develop their skills within a modern and technology-driven facility.

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for preparing parts, operating specialist manufacturing equipment, carrying out routine machine maintenance, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will play a key role in maintaining an efficient production process and delivering high-quality products to customers.

Key responsibilities of Machine Operator
  • Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery.

Desirable Experience
  • Within a similar advanced manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, automotive, electronics or technical production environment.
  • Familiarity with automated or specialist production equipment.
