Job summary

Work Lyf Group Ltd is recruiting a Machine Operator for their Newcastle-under-Lyme site. The role involves operating and setting up machinery, monitoring performance, and maintaining production records within a busy production team.

Ideal candidates will have factory or production experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Rotating two-shift pattern (Mornings & Afternoons) with a pay of £16.54 per hour.

Qualifications

Experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar production role.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Reliable with a focus on quality and safety.
Basic IT skills including Excel and SAP.
Basic mechanical understanding for routine checks.
Reach FLT licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up machinery safely and efficiently.
Monitor machine performance and report faults.
Complete production records accurately.
Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, PPE, safety and quality.

We're recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy and well-established production team. This role is ideal for someone with factory or production experience who is committed to safety, quality and teamwork. You will report directly to the Operations Shift Manager and play a key part in maintaining high production standards and efficient machine performance.
