Select Recruitment is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for a Norwich-based food manufacturing site. Role includes operating/monitoring machinery, quality checks, and adherence to HACCP and safety standards. Training leads to a 4-on-4-off pattern with long weekends. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with all food safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator or Machine Setter is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently
• Carry out routine machine checks to ensure production standards are maintained
• Load raw materials and packaging into machinery
• Identify and report machine faults or breakdowns
• Make basic machine adjustments and assist with changeovers
• Complete quality checks to ensure products meet food safety and company standards
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work area
• Follow all Health & Safety, HACCP and food hygiene procedures
• Complete production records accurately
• Work collaboratively to achieve daily production targets

Machine Operator - Norwich, NR9

£13.70 per hour | Monday-Thursday | Temp to Perm

Select Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established food manufacturing company based in Little Melton.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role offering a great work-life balance, with a four-day working week and no weekend work. Following successful training, you'll also have the opportunity to move onto a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern.
