Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking four experienced Machine/Production Operatives to join a brand-new Desford manufacturing facility. You will operate automated production machinery in the cutting and palletising area, ensuring production runs smoothly and meeting high standards of quality and safety.

You will work a 4 on / 4 off pattern (days and nights) with shifts from 5:30am–6:00pm and 5:30pm–6:00am on a 6-month rolling contract, with potential for longer-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment is essential.
• Experience with automated production equipment is highly desirable.
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to adjust machines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexible to work a rotating 4 on / 4 off days and nights shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and adjust automated production machinery, including extruders and de-hackers.
• Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely throughout the shift.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.
• Identify and report machine faults, defects or production issues.
• Complete production records and basic system updates.
• Work to production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all Health & Safety procedures.

Pay Rate: £17.98 per hour
Contract: 6 Month rolling contract
