Pilgrim’s Europe in Grantham is seeking a Machine Minder to operate and maintain factory machinery while adhering to health and safety regulations. The role follows an alternating shift pattern, Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, with a starting salary of £560 per week (£30,992 per year).

Job description

Shift pattern:Alternating Shift: Monday to Friday,06:00-14.00, 14:0022.00.

Machine Minder is required to operate effectively and maintain and basic upkeep of the machinery as required. Must also be aware of health and safety regulations and adheres to them.

Salary starts from £560 per week, £30 992 per year

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for personal Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of other workers.
To ensure that quality standards within the factory are maintained.
To ensure that hygiene standards within the factory and machinery are maintained.
To carry out basic mechanical duties in relation to the equipment within the factory.
Required to set up and operate machinery.
Assemble and disassemble machinery to facilitate deep cleaning.
Provision of a service to other areas of the factory.
Any Other Duties, which may be required by the Manager

Physical conditions

The job is performed mainly in a chilled factory area and involves extensive periods standing.
