Job summary

TipTopJob in Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire is recruiting for Machine Minder positions. Salary is GBP 13.60 per hour, weekly pay with one hour for lunch unpaid. Duties cover checks, schedule monitoring, fault diagnosis with engineering, and training new team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Complete pre:start checks in line with H and S, food safety, SKU and quality requirements prior to commencing production.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure changes to the machine are made promptly.
• Liaising with the Production Supervisor / Line Leader for breaks and changeovers to maximise equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor outputs, maintain routine checks and report to Line Manager any issues arising.
• Conduct alongside Engineering team Fault diagnosis and problem solving.
• Reporting promptly any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
• Conduct line cleaning to required specifications.
• Conduct a thorough handover during shift finish.
• Train other/new team members when required, (upon achieving the relevant competency).
• Learn other plant and equipment when requested.

Location: Coulman Road, Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Salary: A GBP 13.60 per hour (Weekly paid, one hour for lunch unpaid)

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday : overtime available various shifts.

To take responsibility for the setup and effective operation of production machinery, this role plays a key role in ensuring that production targets are met and that all products meet our high:quality standards.
