Job summary

Avara Foods is hiring a Machine Minder at our Caistor site in North Lincolnshire. The role involves machinery interventions and first line troubleshooting to keep lines running smoothly in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Training will be provided, with a focus on hygiene and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience within a production environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

• Performing start up and close down procedures.
• Minimising downtime of equipment through the correct start up and change over of lines.
• Reporting live data to Engineering and Production teams.
• Helping identify and implementing workplace improvements.
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels.
• Carrying out Production Operative duties when required to keep the line running efficiently

About The Role

As a Machine Minder you’ll be undertaking machine interventions and first line trouble shooting to ensure machinery is running smoothly.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

• Performing start up and close down procedures.

• Reporting live data to Engineering and Production teams.
• Helping identify and implementing workplace improvements.
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels.
