Job summary

MFK Recruitment is seeking an IT Support Engineer with Mac experience to join a private art-sector business based in Stroud, Gloucestershire. The role is 95% Mac, 5% Windows, with on-site support five days a week and no travel required.

You will work with the Head of IT and team to troubleshoot and provide hands-on support, explaining issues in plain English and maintaining equipment records. Strong attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ months hands-on Mac support in a professional IT role.
• Practical knowledge of macOS and Apple hardware.
• Experience installing applications and configuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, in-person and remote IT support for Mac users.
• Diagnose macOS and Apple hardware faults and performance issues.
• Set up and configure Macs, install software, apply updates.
• Install and troubleshoot printers, scanners and other equipment.
• Support onboarding/offboarding with device prep and access setup.
• Investigate network/Wi‑Fi issues and Windows support when needed.
• Record issues and resolutions, maintain equipment logs.
• Escalate complex faults to the infrastructure team with notes.
